Meet Kayla
My name is Kayla and I am an assistant coordinator at Type A Soiree. I am based in San Diego but grew up in Orange County. For the past three and a half years I was studying at San Diego State University. I just graduated in December and have been working with Type A Soiree for two years. While I am not studying and working, I am traveling, enjoying time with friends and family and exploring all San Diego has to offer.
Event planning interests me because I love the process just as much as I love the result. I genuinely enjoy all aspects of putting together the pieces of the puzzle that make someone's event incredible and challenging myself with going above and beyond. And it really is one of the best feelings knowing that someone was able to fully enjoy their own event without worrying about the little odds and ends.
Right now my dream wedding changes every time I see a new picture or visit a new venue! All I know for sure is that Veronica will be my planner and coordinator no matter what - because she is THAT good.
Meet Oni
Hi! My name is Oni and I am a born and raised California girl. I am a recent business graduate from San Diego Christian College and am currently working for Type A Soiree Events as an event planning intern. I have a desire for serving others and a passion for exploring all the good things life has to offer.
Some of my favorite hobbies include, anything that has me being outdoors and active. I love hiking, running the boardwalk, and soaking up the warm San Diego sunshine. On the flipside, one of my most enjoyable hobbies is creating art. I enjoy baking and spending time in the kitchen almost as much as I enjoy working out so I am grateful the two balance each other out! On the weekends I love to go line dancing with friends or try new food places around town.
My favorite part of events is, accomplishing someone’s vision by making their ideas become a reality.
My dream wedding will have all things country chic, and be outdoors of course! By a lake or up in the country hills surrounded by beautiful scenery.
